Music: Eastern Eagle

Eastern Eagle, Mi’kmaq singers and drummers from Canada, have been soaring the globe sharing their gifts of exhilarating vocals and thunderous drums since 1992. Eastern Eagle has performed at many of North America’s most prestigious Powwows, including the Gathering of Nations and the Schemitzun World Championships and have had the honour to be Host Drum at many powwows in Atlantic Canada.

 

Eastern Eagle can be heard on soundtracks of Walt Disney films and in collaboration with George Paul & the Red Ochre Band. Eastern Eagle was nominated for Best Aboriginal Recording of the Year at the 2009 Nova Scotia Music Awards.

 

 

Designated Charitable Foundation: Warming Hearts

A percentage of our profits is happily donated to the Warming Hearts Firewood Program of Adopt-A-Native-Elder (www.anelder.org) which provides firewood to Elders who live the cultural and spiritual tradition of the Dine’ people on their (Navajo) reservation.
